Keyword Difficulty
Keyword Difficulty is an estimate of how hard it is to rank near the top for a keyword, based on the strength of the apps already there: their ratings volume, install base, relevance and how stable their positions are. Difficulty matters most next to popularity. A high-popularity, high-difficulty term may be out of reach for a new app, while a slightly smaller term with soft competition can deliver more installs sooner. ASOSurge scores how reachable the top is for each keyword.
