Keyword rank tracking
An ASO keyword rank tracker that measures every day, in every country you care about
ASOSurge checks where your app ranks for each tracked keyword every day, on the App Store and on Google Play, separately for each country. You see the position, the change since yesterday or last month, and the full history — so you know what actually moved your rankings, instead of guessing.

Daily rank snapshots, per keyword and per country
App store rankings change daily and differ by country. A keyword where you sit at #8 in the United States can be #60 in the United Kingdom. Every tracked keyword gets its own daily measurement for each storefront you add, so a change in one market never hides behind an average.
- Ranks measured to the top 250 for every tracked keyword
- Change vs. yesterday, 7 days and 30 days, with movers called out
- Rank distribution: how many keywords sit in the top 3, top 10, top 50 and beyond
- A visibility score that summarizes how discoverable the app is across all of its keywords
- History you keep — not a rolling 30-day window
Find the keywords you already rank for
Most apps rank for far more search terms than their teams track. Alongside your own list, the keyword dashboard shows how many keywords the app ranks for store-wide and surfaces the ones you are not tracking yet, sorted by search popularity. That is usually the fastest way to find terms that already work and deserve attention.
New keywords are discovered daily from store search suggestions and related searches, then measured so you can add them to tracking with one click.
Keyword metrics that tell you what to do
A rank alone does not tell you whether a keyword is worth effort. Each tracked keyword also carries:
- Search popularity and its trend over the last weeks
- Difficulty — how hard it is to reach the top results
- Chance — this app's odds of reaching the top for that term
- Relevance — how closely the keyword matches what the app does
- Estimated installs the keyword currently drives for you
Every row also gets a plain-language next step: keep it, fix the listing, run a small test, or leave it alone.

Frequently asked questions
- How often are keyword rankings updated?
- Every tracked keyword is measured once a day for each country you track. The dashboard shows the latest snapshot and the change against earlier days.
- How deep do you measure rankings?
- Positions are measured to the top 250. A keyword where the app is not in the top 250 is shown as out of range rather than as a guessed number.
- Can I track Google Play and the App Store together?
- Yes. Each store listing is tracked on its own, and the same app on both stores can sit in one workspace.
- How many keywords can I track?
- Starter tracks 25 keywords, Indie 150, Growth 750 and Agency 3,000. See the pricing page for the full limits.
