Cost Per Install (CPI)
Cost Per Install (CPI) is the average amount paid for each install a campaign delivers, calculated as total spend divided by installs. CPI varies by store, country, campaign type and targeting: iOS installs usually cost more than Android, and premium geographies more than emerging markets. Compare CPI with what an install is worth to you (lifetime value), not only with other quotes. A cheap CPI that brings no ranking lift or retained users is expensive. On ASOSurge, every campaign shows its exact per-install price and total before it starts.
